Can kids under 10 be possibly taught coding, without even mentioning the word syntax to them ??

I don’t think you need to use the word “syntax” at all when teaching anyone basic coding. There are many ways to paraphrase the concept. It is kind of an odd question, why that specific word?

Probably “structure” would make more sense to a kid. They learn how to diagram sentences, when to use commas and periods etc.

@funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works l wish to avoid letters and punctuation marks altogether in the initial stages.

@schnurrito@discuss.tchncs.de what l had meant was avoiding syntax altogether, and learn it in some other process. Many have suggested logo.
