No, I probably won’t, I tried them, the experience was basically unusable. Could be because of my DE and the lacking standards implementation. But the bugs I reported went unfixed… 9 months later so I’m not holding my breath.
And I just don’t have the time/patience to play that game about who should be doing what.

They get better everyday. You will use them at some point if you cannot find your software via your favorite package manager.
What kind of problems did you experience? I’m on an admittedly flatpak first distro and I can’t remember ever having issues.
