if you want to be a full greybeard, just tell them to rtfm instead of making it for them. lol

i’d image that you’d use other tools to do that and i ask because you’re not the first to extol 7z instead of the old tools that us greybeards of come accustomed to using over the last decades; i dont wanna be left behind to ossify. lol
i always envy people who can do formatting/styling well.
why 7z instead of tar with xz or gzip? is it better somehow?
ibm is going to buy the entire ansible-verse; so be ready.
i will weep with you in solidarity. 😉

Based on the fact you’re using Arch I’m going to guess that you’ve already considered the distros they are meant for older hardware like damn small Linux and puppy Linux; but you want to set this up for a child and Hannah Montana Linux fits the bill even though this distro is mean as a joke, I bet the aesthetics will work.
i love this person’s work; i’ve been working in the linux sphere for over 20 years but this person always teaches something that’s new to me and more helpful than the tools i’ve been using to get the job done; sed/awk in this case. (plus, the sense of humor also makes it fun to watch).
i wish i were as rich as my fellow software engineers so that i can support her work because i’m convinced we need it in a world where people no longer have the same opportunities i had to learn this kind of tech because their smartphones inadvertently hide needful knowledge in the abstractions that make smartphones work.
a long time ago; i used fedora on my macbook for almost 5 years, until it died
